Within the scope of the competition, which was announced on April 26, 2024 within the scope of World Intellectual Property Day and started on May 1, 2024, university students studying in associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs will be able to participate in the competition by logging into the system via e-Government until December 15, 2024 via the epats.turkpatent.gov.tr website and submit a free online patent application. Patent applications by university students will be evaluated by a distinguished jury within the framework of certain criteria. At the Award Ceremony to be held in 2025, which will be attended by our Honorable Minister, a total of 850,000 TL will be awarded, including 100,000 TL for the first, 80,000 TL for the second, 60,000 TL for the third, 50,000 TL for the fourth to sixth, 40,000 TL for the seventh to tenth and 30,000 TL for the eleventh to twentieth. In addition, the winning applicants will be provided with the opportunity to participate in national and international invention fairs in order to promote their inventions.
